Hot Chocolate

Much richer and creamier than store bought powders, this recipe whisks up in a snap.  As always, use a good quality dutched cocoa powder.  If you like your hot chocolate a little more bittersweet, add another tablespoon of cocoa powder.

Hot Chocolate

1 cup milk

2 Oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped

1 Tbsp. cocoa powder

pinch of salt

In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, cocoa powder and salt.  Bring to a simmer then whisk in the chopped chocolate until smooth.
