Teriyaki Marinade

This versatile marinade is great for chicken, beef, pork, fish or tofu.  Make ahead to have on hand any time you feel like using it.  Don’t use fresh pineapple juice, it contains bromelain which overtenderizes meats.


Teriyaki Marinade


1/4 cup Vegetable oil

1 Cup Soya sauce

1/4 Cup Packed brown sugar

4 Cloves Garlic, minced

2 Tbsp. Chopped ginger

1/4 Cup Sherry or Madeira

1/4 Cup Canned pineapple juice


Combine all ingredients, stirring until sugar dissolves.
